Welcome Note:
Beloved brothers and sisters it gives me a great pleasure to welcome you to the official webpage of the Foundation of Apostles and Prophets Youth Fellowship (FAPYF). The FAPYF is committed to unity and development within and outside our church. The website has been designed with you in mind and will allow you to keep up to date with the information, work and the programs of the FAPYF. In addition, it seeks to convey a broad view of the instrumental role that FAPYF plays in supporting the comprehensive development of the church and in realizing the vision of the Chief Apostle, the Apostolate and the entire leadership of our church towards our desired goals as a church.
The position of the FAPYF is clear, and that position is to ensure that the youth is at the forefront in promoting the doctrine of the Foundation of the Apostles and Prophets through sacred music, personal and mass evangelism.
The website is designed in a user friendly manner to ensure quick and efficient access to information.
I would like to welcome you once again to the FAPYF webpage which I hope you find interesting, informative as well as beneficial. Please feel free to share with us any suggestions or ideas that may improve the quality of our webpage.
Best wishes to you all beloved brothers and sisters
Founding Statement
It is clear and proven that the lack of structured participation of the youth at our church in terms of understanding the church administration, lack of youth influence towards developing and uniting our church, lack of the youth influence towards progressive decision making and the role of the youth to be at the forefront in promoting the doctrine of the Foundation of the Apostles and Prophets through sacred music, personal and mass evangelism has led to nothing but the decline, in youth participation over the years.
Our elders have paved the way in ensuring that as our Church is a legal structure there is a need for formal youth structures that are well organized and recognized not only verbally but constitutionally by the church itself.
We as the youth have all without a shadow of a doubt agreed through personal, social media, church gatherings and telephonic engagements that we all want to see a united and developing church. Therefore, it is our duty as the Youth to start acting and ensuring that we assist in shaping our church towards the right direction and make our voices heard as it is not a secret that we constitute the majority of this church hence we want to see peace, love and perseverance amongst the church leaders and members.
This lives all of us with a very important and fundamental question with what have been briefly highlighted above, and the question is: What makes it to be very important to have a recognised and active youth at church? Youth is the future of the church.
Vision & Mision
- To ensure that it educates the youth about the constitution of the church because the constitution is the foundation on which we build and grow from. This will ensure standard operating principles are embedded in our youth to avoid any confusion around what we stand for as a church.
- To have a structured and recognized youth fellowship that will actively participate and be represented in the conferences of the church on behalf of the youth.
- To be able to have a youth desk that will be situated at the head office of the church which will assist towards working on all the issues that affect the youth directly.
- To structure a clear direction to the youth in ensuring that the doctrine of the Foundation of the Apostles and Prophets is followed properly
- To establish a youth Bank account that will be funded by its members and certain sponsorships.
- The leadership will be responsible for recruiting the sponsors and ensure that the youth generates its own income. These funds will be used to assist the youth in all its essential and key programs.
- To prioritize Education in our church in order to up skill the youth of the church with the tools and skills needed for attracting better job opportunities and having a capacity to be self-empowered.
- To establish yearly activities and programs that are of interest to the youth and in line with the beliefs and doctrine of the church i.e. Music Festivals/Competitions, Sports day, etc.
